Time and time again I watch how a book opens dozens of opportunities for entrepreneurs. All of a sudden they are everywhere: on blogs, radio shows, social media, interviews, and other features across different media.
A book simply opens the doors that were closed to you before. Every successful coach has written a book, and you should, too. Here’s why:
- There is nobody like you. And it’s not just your mother who knows this; you know it too. Your challenge is to let other people know. Your book establishes your uniqueness. It’s like a “uniqueness credential.”
- Everyone with whom you come into contact is living in their own world. If you are to communicate with them, you have to find a way to get their attention out of themselves and onto what you’re trying to tell them. Your book can enter into the conversation that is already going on in their head, and help them understand what you’re trying to tell them.
- Books can be profitable. That may seem self-evident, but the fact is that until recently, it was not necessarily true. A book can become a major income stream for you.
- Your book can give “legs” to your message. In our society, a book is a unique cultural artifact. It commands respect; people do not usually casually damage books, or throw them away. So when you package your identity and your message in the book, they, too, command respect.
BUT–book-writing is not taught in schools or universities. So you’ve been left to figure it out for yourself. Don’t feel bad if you haven’t managed to do so!

Joel Orr has written nine books. “The first six were difficult, took a long time, and I was not satisfied with them,” he says. “So before I wrote the seventh, I was determined to find out how prolific authors work. I interviewed the most prolific authors I could find, and I extracted best practices from their approaches. Result: Book #7 was written and published in 90 days, while doing full-time consulting work. Book #8: 30 days. Book #9: 23 days, at an hour a day.”
I can totally relate! It took me 3 full months to slave over 125 pages of my very first book. The biggest pitfall – perfectionism. I wanted it to be just right, absolutely perfect! And although it was a great book, I could’ve done it in a couple of weeks with a similar result.
Today Joel Orr teaches his newly discovered method to anyone who wants to write a book! He has helped coaches, doctors, a 12-year-old fiction writer, and people from every walk of life. His secret? What to do BEFORE you sit down and write a word.
At the Coaching Millions Super Summit Joel will teach you the principles writing a high quality non-fiction book fast. Here’s what he’ll be sharing:
His simple secret to writing a book in 30 days!
Three powerful tools to unleash your book-writing ability!
How to publish your book–for next to nothing!
The truth about self-publishing
What to write about–and what NOT to write about
Questions you should ask yourself BEFORE you write your book
Powerful promotional tips
What I love about book publishing today is that ANYONE can do it – with or without a publisher! But not everybody will, mostly because they believe it takes too much time and effort. First of all, it’s not true. Second of all, the reasons to have a book far exceed any other strategy to establish yourself as the top expert in your field or industry.
Hope you can join us for Joel’s live session in Dallas.

This is great information! I’m really looking forward to Joel’s workshop and the amazing summit.
As for me, get this. I spent 14 YEARS finishing my first book (The Radical Self-Love Workbook). And it wasn’t until I was invited to present in front of 930 people, at T. Harv Eker’s “All Your Relations” seminar, a great opportunity to sell my book in the back of the room, that I finally finished it. I kept “putting another brush stroke” on it, every time I taught the material. I’m quite proud of it now, but, really, it was probably 90% as awesome like 10 years ago! I’m looking forward to learning how to self-publish it more affordably, market it more widely, and, being the continuously inspired sort, now I’m already penning my next book. My intention is to get Quantum Success done & out there by the end of November. I’ll bet, with your help and Joel’s, I’ll do it.
Thanks, Milana!
