If coaches ruled the world we' all awake filled with gratitude and end the day satisfied in the journey. We'd discover the many paths available to reach the destination we'd previously thought of as a fantasy only. We'd all love ourselves and seek the joy in loving others. We'd open doors with the expectation of pleasure in the new trip. Our institutions would be guided by questions designed to pull out the best inherent in each one. Seeds of questions would be planted throughout the world and forests filled with self-awareness, possibility, and mastery would result in gentle breezes and fragrance. We'd enjoy a hug from someone who celebrates us daily and give a hug of support to another. We'd know that vacations, massage and laughter are the necessities that make us truly productive. We'd all get to do the work we love and at which we excel. At 3 p.m. we'd all sit down to a glass of cold milk and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (or whatever else delights your senses and refreshes your reserves).

I don't want coaches to "rule" the world. No. Only God (the divine, ground-of-being, ultimate, etc.) is to take center stage in the affairs of human beings. This is an important distinction to make, I think. One challenge our industry faces right now (in my humble opinion) is the tendency of coaches to rely too much on the humanistic philosophy roots connected to the practice of coaching. Don't get me wrong, the practice of coaching benefits greatly from Humanism (the attitude that makes man the measure of his own spiritual life). However, 21st century coaches need to discover more effective ways to encourage their clients to transcend the limits of human experience-that of seeing and relating to self and the world only through one's 5-physical senses.
The number one underlying problem EVERY coach must help their client solve is how to lead them to discover their own divine inheritance. This is the essence of life-transformation; the goal of all coaching.

laws, health, society, relationships, education, entertainment, parenting, families, and other areas of our lives-----YES a ruler/a leader who founded a nation state affects all of these realms.

I know a ruler who was a coach at the same time.

So Milana's question is not a triggering wishful thinking.

It happened once and why not again and in quite immense numbers now at this turning point of our civilization?

If you ask: WHO IS HE?
This is something to start with:)
Wish you a good journey on your quest

ps: useful tip for the answer/ The foundation of Turkish Republic / History back to the start of 20th century can be expolored to find out the name of the 'leader coach'

As many have said, we don’t need more rulers, imposing their idea of what’s best for us.
Even if these rulers rise from the world of coaching.

Some people see coaches as just another collection of self-proclaimed experts.
Each coach seems eager to reshape the world according to her own theories and experience, ignoring the unique voice and talents of the ones who she advises.

And sometimes we fall into that spinning, seductive place.

But what if COACHING ruled the world?

What if the bright spirit that shines within coaching was the rule, the principle at the heart of our relationships, our learning, our speech, our hopes, our dreams, and our vision for the future?

Can you see that world?

It’s full of color, and sweet music.
It’s full of play.
And we shape the world with a light, loving touch.

We are wildly successful in that world.
Our days there are full of learning about ourselves and others.

We are motivated by something larger than success or honor or a moment of satisfaction.
We are hungry for joy.

And our eyes are sharp and bright.
Filled with a sight that sees the greatness in ourselves and others.

We see what is, and what can be.

The bright eyes of children.
And the endless worlds of possibility they carry.
Are not extinguished as they grow, by apathy, sadness, and fear.

The children look at the bright eyes of the adults around them.
And hear everyday, in school, and on the streets, words of possibility and greatness.

And see patience and love.

Milana interesting question. Here's something to think about.
Coaches can't rule the world because ruling means power over others. Coaches don't exert power over others. But what if coaching principles were what we lived by? Then we would all look at our life as a journey. Consciously enjoying the gift of free will. Making intentional choices that allow us to experience life to the fullest. All the while, friends, colleagues and associates would support our decisions and allow us to experience without guilt, excuses or blame.
We could freely let go of experiences that don't serve us and know the value of living in the moment. We could stop fighting like something is trying to get out of us. We would experience self care at the very fiber of our being. The world may be the same but how we experience it would be different.
And isn't that what counts?

As a child psychologist who provides coaching rather than "therapy," I'd love to see all the parents and teachers of the world trained to be coaches.

If coaches were in charge, children would see their potential, rather than their problems.

Parents would say, "How can we solve this problem?" Rather than,
"What is wrong with you?"
"How come you made this mistake?"
"Go to your room!"
"You're grounded!"

Adults would celebrate and encourage children's creativity and joy in discovery rather than say,
"Why did you make a mess?"
"Follow the directions."
"Be quiet!"
"Stop jumping, running, singing, twirling, and making so much noise!"

Teachers would take into account every child's learning style and teach flexibly with empathy and encouragement, rather than asking children to learn one way and get graded on the outcome.

Coloring outside the lines would be cool. Mixing colors would be even better because kids will be encouraged to experiment to find out what happens when you try something new.

Children would be taught that dreams have value, hard work pays off, being different and unique can make you successful and self-fulfilled.

Imagine a world where our children get the message that they can make positive change, grow to fulfil their potential, and feel good about themselves?

Those children will become our future leaders, politicians, doctors, lawyers, police and firefighters, scientists, engineers. They will rule the world from a place of positive power and energy. They will discover new and innovative ways to help humanity in their communities and around the world because we teach them they CAN and that it is all POSSIBLE.

If coaches ruled the world, there would be more accountability. People would take personal responsibility for their results and for their lives. There would be much less blaming in the world. People would know that they had the power to create the lives they desire. Not as many people would make excuses. People wouldn't be blaming the economy for their lack of progress. Also, people would make the world a better place energetically by following their passions. By following your passion, you are more heart-centered, loivng life. When you love life, you love others more. This increased love could bring about world peace since peace begins with the individual. By focusing on your passion and purpose, there is less focus on material gain. Happiness is the result. Happiness, love, and peace are the forces that can heal and change the world. This is what coaches help to facilitate. We help to bring out clients' inner joy, passion, and love. They do the work--we just help them unleash the good already inside. Thanks for reading my entry :)
